1. Interpretation

1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of goods by VanHangers (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the purchaser (“you”, “customer”).

1.2 By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.3 These Terms apply to the exclusion of any other terms that you may seek to impose.

2. The Goods

2.1 The goods are roof-mounted steel hanging frame systems designed for attachment to compatible vehicle roof rack systems (“Goods”).

2.2 All descriptions, specifications, and images are provided for illustrative purposes only.

2.3 As the Goods are hand-manufactured, minor variations in finish, weld appearance, or coating shall not constitute a defect.

3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1 You are solely responsible for ensuring:
• The compatibility of the Goods with your vehicle and roof rack system.
• That the roof rack and vehicle roof are structurally rated for the intended load.
• That installation is carried out competently and safely.
• That all weight limits are observed.

3.2 The Goods must not be used while the vehicle is in motion unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3.3 The Goods are intended for static use only unless otherwise specified.

3.4 Any modification of the Goods voids any warranty and may invalidate liability protections.

4. Orders and Acceptance

4.1 An order constitutes an offer to purchase the Goods.

4.2 A contract is formed only when we issue written confirmation of dispatch.

4.3 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion.

5. Price and Payment

5.1 All prices are stated in GBP and include VAT unless otherwise specified.

5.2 Delivery charges will be clearly displayed prior to checkout.

5.3 Payment must be received in full prior to dispatch.

6. Delivery

6.1 Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed.

6.2 Risk passes to you upon delivery to the address provided.

6.3 You must inspect the Goods within 48 hours of delivery and notify us promptly of any damage or discrepancy.

7. Right to Cancel (Consumers Only)

7.1 If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days of receiving the Goods in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

7.2 To exercise the right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within the cancellation period.

7.3 You must return the Goods at your own cost and in unused condition.

7.4 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of returned Goods.

7.5 The right to cancel does not apply to bespoke or made-to-order Goods.

8. Faulty or Non-Conforming Goods

8.1 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8.2 If the Goods are faulty or not as described, you must notify us promptly.

8.3 We may require photographic evidence and/or return of the Goods for inspection.

8.4 Remedies will be limited to repair, replacement, or refund as provided by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 The Goods are load-bearing equipment intended for use at height and in conjunction with third-party roof rack systems.

9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:
• Incorrect installation
• Incompatible roof rack systems
• Structural failure of third-party components
• Exceeding stated weight limits
• Misuse or modification
• Indirect or consequential loss
• Damage to vehicles
• Loss of earnings or business interruption

9.3 Our total liability arising under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed the purchase price of the Goods.

9.4 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All intellectual property rights in the Goods, website content, branding, logos, and designs remain our property.

10.2 No part may be reproduced without written permission.

11. Force Majeure

11.1 We shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruption, strikes, or transport delays.

12. Governing Law
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
